Object and scene perception 

Diffeomorphed images: We have developed a new method for creating scrambled images that contain all the basic visual properties of the image while removing semantic content.
Representation of self: In collaboration with Lucilla Cardinali, we are currently examining the electrophysiological markers of self identification.
Scene and object perception: Damian Cruse and I are working on differentiating the timecourse of scene and object perception in naturally occurring environments. 
Face perception: Infants do not show the same cortical pattern of brain activity in response to faces as adults, which suggests early in life face processing  may be driven by subcortical structures. In collaboration with Laura Cabral, a graduate student with Rhdori Cusack, we are investigating subcortical mechanisms of face perception.
